Oor Wullie’s BIG Bucket Trail – Superfans
Are you an Oor Wullie superfan visiting more than one of the five trails across Glasgow, Edinburgh, Dundee, Aberdeen and Inverness? We’re giving superfans the chance to access exclusive Oor Wullie rewards.
Oor Wullie’s BIG Bucket Trail is the first ever nationwide public art trail to hit the streets of Scotland spanning five host cities; Glasgow, Edinburgh, Dundee, Aberdeen and Inverness. You have 11 weeks from 17 June – 30 August 2019 to collect as many large Oor Wullies as you can across all five host cities.

Collect Oor Wullies across two, three, four or all five trails and you’ll be granted access to the national milestone rewards. When you’ve achieved the milestones below, the app will automatically unlock a National Milestone with instructions on what to do next – exciting! Keep checking your REWARDS screen for updates.

- Visit two trails – treat yourself to a collectable Oor Wullie figurine for just £10 + P&P courtesy of Wild in Art (available while stocks last).
- Visit three trails – win 1 of 50 Oor Wullie T-Shirts.
- Visit four trails – win 1 of 10 Oor Wullie and You – Personalised Print or Canvas courtesy of DC Thomson.
- Visit five trails – win 1 of 5 exclusive Oor Wullie figurines hand painted by five of our OWBBT artists.
- Complete all five trails – you could be the proud owner of a golden school sized Oor Wullie – yes your very own Oor Wullie sculpture.

How do I unlock a national milestone?
Download the app and start collecting Oor Wullies. If you visit and collect large Oor Wullies on two, three, four and five trails you’ll unlock a national milestone. If you collect ALL the large Oor Wullies across Glasgow, Edinburgh, Dundee, Aberdeen and Inverness you’ll unlock a national milestone.
How do I complete all five trails?
You must collect all the large Oor Wullies on all five trails across Glasgow, Edinburgh, Dundee, Aberdeen and Inverness.
Is it only available to app players?
Yes. But if you can evidence your achievement of the national milestones with photos email them to us at hello@oorwullie.com and we’ll get back to you.
I’ve achieved a national milestone but the app hasn’t unlocked the reward
First let’s check you have ALL selected in the top navigation. Then select REWARDS, scroll to UNLOCKED REWARDS. Review the unlocked rewards, can you see the national milestone represented with a star icon? If so, click on it to reveal the reward instructions – hoorah!
Next, check you’re connected to the internet, either WiFi or a mobile network. Make sure you have the latest update installed on your device. Close the app completely and re-open it (or restart your device). Finally, review the app permissions and ensure everything is checked.
Still no luck? Please email hello@oorwullie.co.uk with the following:
– make and model of your phone,
– the version of android or iOS you’re running
– the email address you’re using to sign in
– and a loose indication of the time the error occurred.
How do I access my reward?
Select ALL in the top navigation. Then select REWARDS, scroll to UNLOCKED REWARDS. Review the unlocked rewards, national milestones are represented with the star icon. Click the star to reveal the reward instructions.
How long do I have to enter the competitions?
The closing date for competition entries is midnight on 1st September 2019. Entries received after the closing date will not be considered eligible.
When will the winners be announced?
Winners will be notified by telephone or email, announced on this website and via social media on 6th September 2019.
