Inverness Caledonian Thistle Football Club is a professional football club based in Inverness, The team currently competes in the Scottish Championship. The club was founded in August 1994 by the merger of Highland League clubs Inverness Caledonian and Inverness Thistle. The club is presently celebrating its 25th Anniversary and in its short existence has secured several promotions and cup wins culminating in winning the Scottish Cup in 2015.
