Celebrating Hope
For this project Lorna’s aim was to create a bright and cheerful artwork for The ARCHIE Foundation. Her intention is for the viewer to feel uplifted and give a smile. The use of balloons is a direct link to childhood, bringing happiness and joy to a child as well as marking a celebration. The hope element of the artwork is an acknowledgment to all children attending hospital, bringing some happiness during their visit or stay, as well as the important wish for them all to feel better.
