The Craig Gowans Memorial Fund was established in 2007, as a way to commemorate our beloved Craig. Craig was the best son, brother and friend anyone could hope for and we miss him dearly. Charitable fundraising efforts in Craig’s name are a positive focus for his family and friends. In recent years, we have taken on difficult endurance challenges; we climbed the highest mountain in the UK, cycled the length of Britain and even became Guinness World Record holders for the longest game of football ever – 105 hours non-stop. An immense fundraising effort year after year, all undertaken with great love and determination for Craig and the children at Edinburgh Children Hospital Charity. A special thank you to our participants and supporters, all of whom should be proud their collective efforts over the years preserve the memory of a truly special person and have raised considerable funds for an outstanding charity. it is always incredibly inspiring to receive feedback from parents, doctors or nurses of sick and vulnerable young children who have benefited from projects through our fundraising partners at Edinburgh Children’s Hospital Charity.
