King Cat Wullie

'P7JS designed and painted Kingswells Primary's Oor Wullie. This year we are celebrating our 25th anniversary and we talked about painting Oor Wullie in our school uniform. The only problem was that he was wearing his trademark dungarees - of course! We decided we should add patterns to Wullie's dungarees using our school colours of red, black and white. We wanted the pattern to be fun and up to date but also representing Aberdeen. We each submitted several pattern designs and leopard was the chosen favourite; this is great because the leopard is one of the symbols of Aberdeen.'
