Let Wullie Flourish

Flourish House is a mental health organisation based in the West End of Glasgow. We were delighted to have the opportunity to design and decorate an ‘Oor Wullie’ and he created much nostalgia and interest. We painted our Oor Wullie in the golden yellow and dark blue of the logo. Members and colleagues came up with words to describe what Flourish House means to us and were all involved in sticking them on Wullie. It was a real group effort in which everyone at Flourish House was invited to participate. This sculpture is sponsored by the Glasgow Science Centre.
