Natural Healing is inspired by the healing properties found in plants and the positive impact nature can have on people’s wellbeing. Wullie wears green dungarees which provide a backdrop for an array of medicinal plants such as chamomile, echinacea, calendula and lavender. His bucket is decorated with a meadow scene.

Valerie Duncan
Valerie Duncan is an illustrator from East Lothian who enjoys botanical illustration and children’s illustration. This project has enabled her to combine these divergent aspects of her art. Valerie paints in pastel, watercolour and acrylic and also sculpts in clay. Her work has a simple narrative, suggesting a story about the creatures featured in her work, on which the viewer can elaborate.
