Oor Artist Wullie

Our pupils created a wide range of weird and wonderful ideas for our Oor Wullie sculpture - everything from 'Eco-warrior' to a variety of prankster Oor Wullie designs. The design we chose, which we feel truly reflects Govan High school, is titled 'Oor Artist Wullie' by Kariss McAlpine in S2. This design represents our many young, talented and creative pupils who pursue careers within the creative industries as well as our team of 'Painters and Decorators' who work in collaboration with the construction industries. Modern day Wullie would be a very skilled and creative person if he was a pupil at Govan High! This sculpture is sponsored by St Enoch Shopping Centre.
