Oor Doddie
Creating the Oor Wullie Staue as the Scottish International Rugby player Doddie Weir recognises not only his achievements in rugby, but also his present challenge of MND and raising awareness of this with the public. Doddie's determined, cheerful and bubbly character highlights that being positive can help anyone who has challenges, whether they are of a physical or mental nature. Doddie has been a positive role model that people look up to and hopefully this statue of Oor Doddie will help highlight the tremendous work done by these three Scottish hospital charities.
