Oor Duddy Bairn

Oor Duddy Bairn’s design is a merging of old and new! This whole school effort celebrates the combination of Oor Wullie’s historical Scottish identity and language with our current core values and identity here at Duddingston. His blue and yellow tartan dungarees represent our school colours upon which our core values, ‘Be proud, Be Kind and Work Hard’, are displayed in Oor Duddy Bairn’s Scots tongue. Each class thought of their very favourite Scots words which we used to decorate the rest of Oor Bairn. He’s awfy braw!
