Oor Foggie Loon

'Our design was inspired by Aberchirder School's very own tartan which is on the tartan register and was designed last year by a former pupil in school. We wanted all of the children in the school to feature on the sculpture and so everyone drew their own "selfie" which is what makes Oor Wullie's dungarees unique. Having our own tartan designed was the result of a parent from school entering a competition in the Daily Record and we are very proud to have our very own tartan. Each child designed an Oor Wullie and elements were taken from these drawiings for our final decision.'
