Oor Mario

All 20 children in the school had the opportunity to submit a design entry and from those, a short list of five were selected and then the whole school voted on which of those five they would like to be the final design for our Oor Wullie. The school decided that the final design should look like Mario from the Nintendo games series. The children said that both Oor Wullie and Mario wear dungarees and both have "fun adventures". The children also liked the bold blocks of colours that would be "easy to paint". This sculpture is sponsored by Wonderworld.
