The Glasgow Association for Mental Health Sculpture was inspired by old superhero comic book words. This inspired people to recognise that they are hero’s in their own journeys, whether that be living with, or in recovery from mental health problems. The focus was to use both positive and negative words on the dungarees. The participants wanted to express a true reflection of the highs and lows of their journey through recovery and seeking mental wellness. Oor REPRISE was a collaborative effort which not only encouraged great discussion but also brought together individuals allowing them to feel that their voices were not only being seen but heard. This sculpture is sponsored by the Glasgow Science Centre.
