Oor Tyrie's Tartan Thistle Wullie

'Pupils were asked to think about our area and where we live and try to incorporate this into their designs. All pupils, staff and parents voted for their favourites. We then looked at the 3 most popular creations and took elements from them all to create our final design. Wullie has a purple head, green arms, shirt, hands and boots to represent the thistle. He is wearing tartan dungarees and sitting on a navy bucket with our school badge on the front and farm animals on the side to represent our links with the farming community.'
