Oor Wullie Believes

'Our sculpture was designed by a group of pupils at Danestone Primary. At Danestone we have been focusing on our school values and what 'Danestone Believes', so we decided to use this as the stimulus and have named our sculpure, 'Oor Wullie Believes'. Our 5 values are Kindness, Fairness, Courage, Positivity and Respect. We wanted to incorporate our Chinese links, as we are the Aberdeen City Primary Confucius Hub. The pupils from Nursery to Primary 7 used thier knowledge of Chinese culture and language to create this design using decoupage and finger painting.'
